Inusah Musah was not involved in midweek due to a knock but he is expected back amongst the squad same as Cosmos Dauda who trudged in the win over Bechem.

Robin Gnagne and Richard Yamoah remain sidelined.

MATCH PREVIEW: Accra Hearts of Oak will play as guests of Obuasi Ashantigold in the match-day 11 of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League at the Len Clay Sports Stadium on Saturday, 8thApril, 2017.

The Phobians exhibited one of their very best performances blowing away Bechem United in a six-goal thriller in the last match-day and they are expected to build on that win by claiming all the maximum point in their away trip to Obuasi on Saturday.

For the first time in 623 days, Hearts scored three goals in the first half of a league game. The last time they did that was in the 2015 season when they beat relegation strugglers Heart of Lions by 4-0 goals at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

Coach Frank Nuttall had surprised Bechem United and in fact a lot of Hearts fans by using Fatawu Mohammed as a winger. The right back had come under pressure from fans but he was given a new lease of life when coach Nuttall pushed him further forward. Fatawu scored his first ever Hearts goal whilst Richard Akrofi also did same on his first full start of the season.

Winful Cobbinah had been slowly eased into the game by coach Nuttall and he worked wonders on his first start of the campaign. Three assists in 40 minutes emphasized Cobbinah’s supreme qualities but he still needs match fitness and full stamina to be able to last an entire game.

The Phobians have won four consecutive games on the trot at home but they would have to start finding something away from home. Two draws and three defeats have ensued after their travails on the road but they would have to get something out of their game with struggling Ashgold.

Coach Nuttall has warned against complacency and believes his charges will be up for the Ashgold game on Saturday.

“We will be up for it,” the Scot told Hearts News in his pre-match interview. “I am sure Ashgold will be up for it as well so you know it is necessary that we recover and it is necessary that we re-focus and treat the next game as a vital game and try to get all three points.”

Ashgold are enduring one of their worst seasons in the top-flight having lost six out of their opening 10 games. The Miners have recorded two wins and drawn two so far but they would surely lift their game once it’s Hearts on the fixture list.

But coach Nuttall side’s would have to go all out to get their first win of the campaign on Saturday.
