Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Frank Nuttall believes his players stuck to the task in the 1-0 win over Ashgold.

Team Hearts recorded their first away win of the season after five attempts thanks to a solo strike from Paul Acquah at the Len Clay Sports Stadium on Saturday.

"My general assessment of the game is that the players stuck to the task very well and although it was a difficult game for us coming after Wednesday’s game with a lot of travelling, we deserved to come away with the three points," Nuttall told accraheartsofoaksc.com

"We were creating some chances and we were away from home and we had to be patient. We created some chances but to be fair to them, they also created some chances as well. So it was a pretty open game in the first half.

“It was a question of just trying to keep a clean sheet to the end of the game. Every game is a difficult game. Every game on the road is a difficult game because every team is trying to win against us as well so it is just good to get another three points. That is the main thing I look at. We got another three points and that’s the main thing."
