Record FA Cup holders Accra Hearts of Oak will host Sporting Mirren in the Round of 64 of the 2017 MTN FA CUP at the Accra Sports Stadium on 23rd April, 2017.

The Phobians have been drawn against the Division One side but they will be looking to end a 17-year wait for the FA CUP.

Team Hearts were eliminated by Samartex FC on penalties in last year's competition.

But they have been handed a good draw with a home fixture against Sporting Mirren. The Division One side beat Madina Republicans 2-1 in the preliminary round to step up the meeting with Hearts.

The date for the round of 64 FA CUP games will begin on the weekend of the 20th - 24th April 2017.

Hearts of Oak have won the FA CUP an unprecedented 10 times since its inception. But have not won it since the competition returned from a 10-year hiatus, missing out at the semi-final stage on two occasions in the last four years.
