MATCH PREVIEW: Accra Hearts of Oak will take the long trip to Tamale to face Bolgatanga All Stars in the match-day 13 of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier Leagua at the Tamale Utrecht Park on Wednesday, 26th April, 2017.

The third-placed Phobians will be hoping to climb up the table with victory over Bolga AllStars in midweek after losing ground on the top-two following a 1-1 draw at home with Elmina Sharks in the last match-day.

Team Hearts dispatched Sporting Mirren 2-1 in the MTN FA CUP on Sunday in a game dominated by sparingly used players. Kwame Kizito and Leonard Tawiah were involved in a match for the first time this season against the Division One side whilst Samuel Yeboah and Kassenu Ghandy were given time to also impress.

Five changes were made for the Sporting Mirren game but team Hearts still held on to record a good win over Sporting Mirren.

Coach Frank Nuttall’s side will switch their attention to the league on Wednesday and they will aim to record their second away win of the campaign after beating Ashgold on their last trip on the road.

“Our focus is first of all to recover in the next 24 and 48 hours and see how we are with regards to player fitness and injuries and so on and that will be the first part of our preparation and the focus will be the same as all the previous games which is to try and go and win the game,” the Scot told Hearts News in his pre-match interview.

Bolga AllStars are in 15th position on the log having won two, drawn three and lost seven of their first 11 games. The AllStarshave scored 8 goals and conceded 22 in their debut campaign in the topflight. At home, Bolga Stars have won three games, drawn and lost once after five games. They have beaten Olympics (1-0), Bechem (2-1), and Elmina Sharks (1-0) at home and they will be hoping to add Hearts to their list of scalps.

However, coach Nuttall’s side are fully aware of what a win could do to their chances of finishing the first round as high as possible and they will be going all out to record another away win on Wednesday.
