Accra Hearts of Oak assistant coach Henry Lamptey Wellington will lead the team in Monday's #Ghanaat60 Anniversary Cup match with Asante Kotoko.

Head Coach Frank Nuttall left for Scotland last week and will return on Thursday to begin preparations for our penultimate first round league clash with WAFA next weekend.

In the absence of the Scot, assistant coach Wellington will lead the team against the Porcupines on Monday.

Coach Wellington masterminded a 5-4 penalty victory over Kotoko in the semifinals of the 2016 GHALCA 6 tournament and he will be hoping to complete a personal double over the Porcupines on Monday.

He supervised the team's training on Saturday and today and he assured us the boys will go all out tomorrow to beat Kotoko.

Hearts hold the bragging rights for 2017, having beaten the Porcupines by a lone goal scored by Vincent Atingah Adae in March and the players looked very prepared to eke out another victory over Kotoko.
