Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Frank Nuttall insists Leonard Tawiah and Kassenu Ghandy will get better, adding that we have not seen the best from the duo yet.

The Phobians defeated league leaders WAFA 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday with Leonard Tawiah and Kassenu Ghandy going on to have a good game in the victory.

Tawiah had been out of the squad for some time now but he has worked hard to get back into Nuttall’s plans. The defensive midfielder has played in four consecutive games for the Phobians and has brought steel to the team’s midfield.

Kassenu has only played three games this season but he was quite good at left back against the Academy Boys on Monday.

When asked about the duos performance in the 2-1 win over WAFA, coach Nuttall told

“I do not know if it is the best [performance from Leonard Tawiah and Kassenu Ghandy] but I know there is more to come.

“Ghandy’s performance was good.  He has not played many games but he is an experienced player and he is a technically good player and so he did very well [against WAFA].”
