Thomas Abbey was named the man-of-the-match in our 4-0 win over Bolga AllStars on Friday.

The hardworking midfielder finished the game with two assists, one each for Kwame Kizito and Vincent Atingah, to earn the man-of-the-match award.

Abbey was not able to get on target on the day but he made up for it by being Hearts' creative force against the promoted side.

The Hearts skipper headed a well-weighted cross from a Kassenu Ghandy cross from a corner kick just over the bar and it was his pass that drew the penalty on Patrick Razak in the first half.

Abbey became Hearts' creator in the second half, setting up Kizito for his second goal of the day with a brilliant through ball before crossing for Atingah to head home the club's fourth on the day in the 51st minute.

But though he was not on the score-sheet, the club's leading scorer's performance against Bolga AllStars caught the eye of the NASCO man-of-the-match selectors and he went home with the gong.

Congrats, Thomas.
