Kwame Kizito is paying back the trust reposed in him by Frank Nuttall but the Hearts head coach has urged the striker to continue to work hard.

Hearts beat Elmina Sharks over the weekend with striker Kwame Kizito finding target in the 2-0 win to bring his season tally to five goals from 10 matches in all competitions.

Despite Kizito’s rich vein of form, coach Nuttall insists the striker and the players must still work hard.

“Kizito knows he has to work in every game to stay in the team and that is the same for every player,” the Hearts head coach told

“They all know that they have to try to stick to the game plan and work very, very, hard so Kizito has scored like six goals so far and so he is doing okay. But there is competition for places because Cosmos [Dauda] is there; we have Alex [Kouami] there and we have got [Bright] Lukman there as well so there is competition and they all need to be working very hard to make sure they stay in the starting XI.”
