Accra Hearts of Oak striker Cosmos Dauda says he cannot wait to play in front of Hearts fans at the Babayara Sports Stadium this Sunday.

Hearts will play as guests of Asante Kotoko in the 2017 President's Cup match at the Babayara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Dauda has never played against Kotoko at the Babayara Sports Stadium since joining Hearts last season.

The striker was nursing an injury when Hearts drew 1-1 with Kotoko in Kumasi last season and he missed the G6 semi-final win over the Porcupines early this year.

"I am really looking forward to playing at the Babayara Sports Stadium this weekend and playing in front of our lovely fans," Dauda told

"I have been unfortunate not to be involved in this game in Kumasi since coming to Hearts but I am happy that I am fit and will be able to play if selected in front of our die-hard fans in the Ashanti Region."

He concluded: "We treat every match as important and this game is also one of great importance, we go for nothing but a win to make up for our defeat in midweek thereby returning to winning ways as early as possible.

This game provides us with the opportunity to bounce right back and we will be doing our all to return to Accra with the cup.

"I know it's not going to be easy but with the full support of our fans, everything is possible."
