Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Silvanus Evans Gbeti says he's not giving up hope on playing a game for the club this season.
The agile keeper is down in the pecking order behind Benjamin Mensah and Samuel Akurugu and though he has been the preferred back up on the bench in the last few matches, he is yet to be involved in a game this season.
With seven matches remaining to be played in the league and possibly three in the FA CUP, Silvanus insists he's not giving up just yet.
"I am not giving up because I am here to fight and I am ready to fight," the keeper told facebook.com/accraheartsofoak.
"I can say I have seen progress in my bid to keep for Hearts this season. I have been on the bench in the second round and I can confidently say I am getting very close to the starting XI.
"I am working hard very hard and I am ready to seize the opportunity once it comes. I know there are only a few games remaining in the season so I am trying and working to get at least a couple of games before the season ends."
