Precocious Hearts star Isaac Mensah is ready to fight and do all he can to keep down a position in the team.
The exciting midfielder has found game time hard to come by but he was fully involved the 3-1 beating of Tema Youth on Sunday.
Mensah was the first to test the keeper and he created a couple of goal scoring opportunities for our attacking trident on the day.
In the 38th minute, the youngster went to the sideline and before we could realise, he went down on both knees and started regurgitating. Paul Acquah was called to warmup but Mensah got back on his feet and signaled his ambition and fighting spirit to continue the game.
He got back up and was involved in the ensuing action before making way in the 70th minute to a standing ovation.
Mensah showed some of his old skills, nutmegging players here and there and ghosting and darting at our opponents when he deemed fit.
"I am happy to play and extremely delighted we won the match," Mensah told facebook.com/accraheartsofoak after the match.
The youngster will be hoping for more playing time and judging by his performance and willingness to fight last Sunday, you would not bet against him being a constant fixture in Frank Nuttall's side in the business end of the season.
