Accra Hearts of Oak eked out a 1-0 victory over Danbort to book their place in the semi finals of the 2017 MTN FA CUP competition.
Vincent Atingah scored the lone goal of the game, converting from the spot after substitute Patrick Razak was charged down in the box in the second half.
The Phobians booked their place into the semi finals of the cup competition but they were made to sweat for the victory by the resolute and determined Division One side.
Hearts passed out a couple of chances to grab the opener with striking duo Cosmos Dauda and Kwame Kizito failing to take advantage of the chances that came their way, it gave Danbort the confidence and wings to grow into the game.
The visitors nearly grabbed the opener when captain and midfielder Sampson Acquah found himself one-on-one with Benjamin Mensah but the Hearts keeper quickly came off his line to smother the ball out for a corner kick.
From the set piece, Danbort missed by a few inches after the ball was half-cleared by the home side.
Hearts threatened at the other end but they did not really create clear cut chances to trouble the visitors' goalkeeper.
After the break, the Phobians upped their game and probed to get the opener but they had to be patient till Patrick Razak's introduction.
The speedy winger immediately caused the visitors trouble with his direct and diagonal runs and it was on such a foray forward that drew the penalty from Danbort. Ex-Auroras player Sadick Abubakar charged on Razak when he turned in the box for the referee to point to the spot.
Atingah stood forward and sent the keeper the wrong way and set Hearts on course for victory.
However, the visitors would not lie down too easily and they had good reasons to feel hard done when ex-Phobian and substitute Issaka Nyemeworo fell under Fatawu Mohammed's challenge in the box.
