Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeepers’ trainer James Jerry Asare expects a nice game when the two giants of Ghana football clash this afternoon.

The Phobians will play as guests of Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the rescheduled Matchday 23 Ghana Premier League fixture at the Babayara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Speaking ahead of the game, Coach Jerry, who has witnessed three encounters between the two sides this year, expects another thrilling affair.

“Hearts-Kotoko games are always different. No matter the circumstance, no matter the situation, even if the two teams are not in form and they meet, you will see good football and the tempo always rises up,” he told

“These are games you cannot predict despite the sad accident that happened to Kotoko; it is still not clear but I can promise you it is going to be a nice game played to standard.

He added: “You cannot take anything away from them [Kotoko and Hearts] even when you are playing small posts and they name it “Hearts-vrs-Kotoko”, the supporters will always be there.

"And this time, we need the support most and we need the three points so we want our fans to come and support us so that we can get the three points.”
