Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Frank Nuttall shared his thoughts after his side beat Olympics 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Goals from Patrick Razak and Kwame Kizito in either half ensured Hearts came from a goal down to complete the league double over their relegation-threatened city rivals.

Olympics took the lead against the run of play through Emmanuel Amartey but Hearts responded immediately through Razak before Kizito scored the winner after the break.

“We did very well because we have not played for a while so it was not easy coming back into competitive games after three weeks,” Nuttall told

“But of course, we have had friendlies but they are a bit different to competitive games so to come away with three points in a derby when Olympics are fighting for survival from relegation, I thought we did very well. The mentality of the players after not a bad start because we had some chances early, we were not fluent very easily but I am very pleased we got the three points.”
