Hearts trio on losing side for local Black Stars

The Black Stars B team finished as winners of Group A despite losing to Nigeria in the final group A game of the WAFU CUP.

Cobbinah and Atingah started and played the entire duration of the game for Ghana whilst Patrick Razak joined the action in the second half.

The trio contributed their part in the game with Atingah clearing the ball off the line in the first half and mopping up for the Ghana defense on a couple of occasions.

Cobbinah could not replicate the highs of last Saturday as he flickered in and out of the game to the very end.

Substitute Razak joined the action in the 46th minute and was denied the opportunity to make an instant impact by goalkeeper Ezenwa Ikechukwu, who charged on the speedster at point blank range.

Kwame Kizito and Thomas Abbey were not used on the day. The latter had picked up a minor thigh problem but is very likely to be back for the semi-final tie on Thursday.
