Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Frank Nuttall has praised the
performance of Winful Cobbinah for Ghana in the just ended WAFU CUP of Nations
tournament adding that the Hearts star excites the crowd.
The mercurial midfielder played in five games for Ghana in the WAFU tournament, scoring two goals, providing one assist and taking home the man-of-the-match award in the 1-0 win over Mali.
And coach Nuttall is full of praise for the Hearts No.10’s output for Ghana.
“Cobbinah, as usual, the man turns up and scores a goal when you don’t expect him to do anything,” Nuttall told accraheartsofoaksc.com
“He was played in a position in the last couple of games which is not normal for him certainly at club level. So he coped very well and he excites the crowd so I am very pleased for him.”
