Accra Hearts of Oak captain Inusah Musah insists the team
was made to sweat for the win over Karela FC last Saturday.
The Phobians eked out a 1-0 victory over promoted side Karela FC in the opening game of the 2018 GHALCA 8 tournament last Saturday.
Speaking after the lone goal victory, defender Inusah told accraheartsofoaksc.com: “This was the first game and we needed to start well but we were made to sweat for the victory by Karela.
“They are a good side and they made things difficult for us but at the end of the day, what was important was that we got the win and that is exactly what we did.
“We are just starting preseason and we made a few mistakes but I am confident we will work on them with guidance from the technical team before the next game.”
Hearts will play Medeama at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday in the second game of the 2018 GHALCA 8 tournament.
